Italy 2004–Shops and Markets

On my first walk in Venice I saw this window of a pasta shop and from then on I was fascinated with the shop windows . Most of these shots were taken at night when there was less activity. The downside was the glare of my flash in the glass.

One day in Rome, when wandering near the Pantheon, I came across the shopping area for priests, nuns and others of the church. I was particularly amused by the tax-free placard.

Inside shops and bars there were also great photo opportunities. And,  of course, the market places are full of visual delights
